Dear Ms. Green,
I am writing to express my deepest appreciation and admiration for your unwavering commitment to empowering Black youth from South Jersey through your HBCU tours. For over 15 years, you have dedicated your time, energy, and heart to guiding high school students in grades 10 through 12 from underserved communities toward brighter futures.
Your efforts have opened doors—both literally and figuratively—for countless young people who may not have otherwise envisioned themselves on a college campus, let alone at a Historically Black College or University. By organizing these transformative tours, you are not only exposing students to academic opportunities, but also to a sense of pride, history, and belonging that HBCUs uniquely provide.
It is no small feat to sustain such a mission for over a decade and a half. Your consistency and compassion have made a profound difference in the lives of the youth you serve. You are planting seeds of ambition and hope, and the ripple effects of your work will be felt for generations to come.
Thank you for being a beacon of possibility and purpose. Your work matters immensely, and your legacy is one of inspiration, empowerment, and love for community.
With deepest gratitude,
JT
