This past Saturday July 10th was the 2nd Annual Free! "Jamil Demby Football Camp" at Vineland Midget Football Complex where the President is Chris Wilson. I must say it was such a display of leadership, togetherness, fellowship and a great atmosphere for learning. Jamil and friends took time out of their busy schedules to come out and show the youth some great drills to help them in their football journey. There were coaches from all four levels of VMFL, Vineland High Coach Russo and players, parents, coaches from other organization's and many other volunteer's who made the camp a success.

The ages were 5-14 and the young players got to learn about agility, footwork, the proper ways to tackle, team work, strength and conditioning and so many other things connected to football and life. Everyone involved were very professional, kept the youth engaged and were knowledgeable about the game. It was very cool to see the kids asking questions and doing the best they can do.
During the camp it was some professional players there who are friends of Jamil's and I liked the fact that they constantly reminded the kids to have fun and focus on school first and foremost.

I was also so impressed with support the parents showed. Most of them stayed outside in the heat to cheer on their child and display solidarity in support of the camp. The field was nice, the music was on point and Jamil's presence and continued encouragement on the mic made the vibe even that much cooler. Programs like this camp shows that South New Jersey does produce greatness! For it was on full display at this camp. It is so cool to see one of our own, who made it, give back to his community in such a big way! Jamil is such a humble man who deserves all the success coming his way! We all wish you luck this upcoming season big fella! Get out there and continue to rep SJ well!
